Greg brings 20 years of working with early and midsized companies in a range of industries. As a seasoned investor he has returned over $1.3 billion in profits to his investors in the networking, manufacturing, telecommunications, wireless, data center, storage, and Internet industries.
As a venture capitalist for 18 years, Greg was an active Board member, involved in all aspects of start-up management, including CEO and executive recruitment, strategy development and operations reviews for seed stage to significant revenue stage technology companies. Greg has deep experience in business plan analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, competitive analysis and team dynamics. With extensive contacts in the financial community, Greg brings expertise to both buy side and sell side issues.
Prior to joining IGP, Greg was the CEO at a mobile content company where he created a new business plan for the company and signed up 37 top name celebrities for an audio blogging business.
Greg has served on over 25 boards including Topspin Communications (Acquired by Cisco), Broadvision (NASDAQ:BVSN), Combinet (Acquired by Cisco), Advanced Radio Telecom (NASDAQ:ARTT), Connexn (Acquired by Azure Solutions), Redfern Integrated Optics, DTI Networks (Acquired by Coppercom Communications), XIOtech (Acquired by Seagate), Lightware (Acquired by Plus Corp), Level One Communications (NASDAQ: LEVL, Acquired by Intel) and Radish Communications (Acquired by Systemsoft). He has been involved in over 100 transactions from venture investments, IPOs, and multi-billion dollar acquisitions.
He also has international experience gained through acquiring the telephone company in New Zealand, developing new venture opportunities in Australia and being the managing partner responsible for a joint venture investment fund in New Zealand and Australia.
