Gloria, is the Founder and Partner of AltoTech Ventures, LLC, a general partner of an early stage venture fund established in 2000 with over $50 million under management. As a matured fund, assets are assigned to Limited Partners. The fund was focused on software technology sold as a service, enterprise solution or embedded into an appliance or chip. She assists companies form their strategic objectives including executing mergers and acquisitions. Gloria is very active in coaching start-up tech companies in Silicon Valley.
With over 20 years of financial, operational and executive management experience, Gloria Wahl brings her knowledge of the high-tech industry in Silicon Valley. She was the former President and CEO of InterNex Information Services, Inc., a business oriented Internet-service provider, which she sold to Concentric Networks Inc. in 1998. She grew the business from zero to over $12 million in subscriber revenue in two years while building out the infrastructure and network backbone. Her prior positions include Corporate Treasurer of Wyse Technology (privatized from NYSE and re-listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange), Corporate Treasurer of Inmac Corp., and Director of Finance for CIS Leasing (aircraft) to provide both equity and debt in several publicly traded funds and Vice President and (Global Syndications) Manager of Wells Fargo Bank, responsible for portfolio in excess of $4.0 billion.
She has extensive operating experience in Internet service, software tools and computer and accessories operations. Her financial background includes leasing, banking, trading, finance and treasury. Her hands-on management of companies in high-tech industries includes defining and setting strategic business direction, M&A, due diligence, obtaining investments and assisting other venture capitalist. Gloria Wahl holds a MBA from Rutgers University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Santa Clara. She sits on the Board of The Enterprise Network (TEN), an incubator in Silicon Valley.
